St. John’s International Airport Authority is a private, not-for-profit corporation that is responsible for the operations of the Airport pursuant to the provisions of a long-term lease with the Government of Canada. The corporate structure ensures that all excess revenues over expenses is retained and reinvested in capital assets for development of the Airport.
The Airport generates revenue through landing fees, terminal fees, concessions, parking fees and rental of building space and land.
