As the most easterly airport in North America, St. John’s International Airport is strategically positioned to be a connecting point with Europe. The airport is located within the capital city of St. John’s and serves more than 60% of the total population of Newfoundland and Labrador.
The airport operates 24/7 with no slot restrictions and no noise restrictions. Twenty-four (24) hour customs service is also available. For those cargo packages that require modes of transportation in addition to air travel, the airport location facilitates this. It is conveniently situated less than 10 km from the Port of St. John’s and approximately 1 km from the exit and entrance ramps to the highway that connects to the rest of the province and country.
